Favourite mythical creatures are dragons. Favourite animals, there are so many! I have done two separate posts about my love for sea creatures like Octopuses & native birds. Also dogs, cats (big cats & house cats), otters, Galapagos tortoises, elephants, & monkeys and apes. #SecretSantaAoNZ

I love native birds. My favourites include the Tíeke (Saddleback), Ruru (Morepork), Kororā (Little blue penguin), Kākā, Kea, Kākāpō, Piwakawaka (Fantail), Pāpango (NZ Scaup). But all of them really! #SecretSantaAoNZ

The work Christmas lunch was at Sojourns. So yum and such a glorious day.

Sadly I am not allowed pets where I live. But I see Felix the Tuxedo cat cat often and we have a neighbourhood friendly fluffy ginger.
Felix likes to be on me or my laptop. We came to a compromise where his head could be on the laptop while I played my game. Felix on the table. He is a black and white Tuxedo cat. The gorgeous fluffy ginger cat that has decided the whole neighbourhood is his home and everyone must love him. He is pretty loveable. So smoochy. Ginger cat looking cute curled up by a hedge.

Mine is red & then black. I also like green especially dark greens, forest greens, olive & emerald.

Not a fan of pink or yellow to wear but I love sunflowers in life.

Yellows, pinks and pastels wash me out.
Out and about in my red coat and red lippy. These are a few of my favourite things. A flat white coffee in a red coffee cup on a matching saucer. At the Goodshirt, Fur Patrol, Stellar, Dragon & The Dudes concert in my red lipstick ( Mac’s Ruby Woo - I think). More of my favourite things, with my sister at Pt Chevalier beach in my red coat with my black and red scarf and my black bag with the red lining. My youngest nephew took the photo.

I used to have a part time pet Teddy, the Maltese/Shitsy cross for about 3 years but then he moved to Ireland with his family earlier this year.

I do spend time with Felix the very vocal and snuggly Tuxedo cat.

And the neighbourhood Ginger Floof.

One of our residents moved out of the retirement village that I work at today. They left behind boxes of books for people to take what they wanted.

Yesterday’s lunch at the Peppertree cafe in Coromandel.
In the foreground is Graham’s tomato soup, then the bowl of chips, then my mussel pot on the table. I am dipping a chip into the aioli. The band rotunda type thing that our table was on. There is a fire pit off to the right. Would be great to have drinks by the fire there one night. My mussel pot with a slice if toasted sourdough on top with chips and tomato soup in the background.

Yesterday, after checking out of the accommodation, we went to The Stesy Fig cafe at Miranda Farm and got coffee/tea plus some fresh farm eggs, a lemon, a grapefruit and an avocado. There we two gorgeous wee dogs there. 🥰🥰 🐶🇳🇿

Having a lovely weekend away. Stopped off for lunch with one of my besties at her place in Waiuku yesterday before heading to a little hideaway in Miranda. 🐶🇳🇿

I got my energy rebate yesterday. Today I went to the Mercy Hospice shop. Oooops. I may have gotten a bit excited!!! I really need to read faster But we all know that buying books is a different hobby to reading them. Also I went to the new local flower shop and bought little posies for people. 📚🇳🇿
