Pirate Yakuza already left me a little miffed, but after seeing Kiwami 3 I'm not really missing much by skipping any of the non Ichiban games by the looks of it. Hopefully this is just a bad spell for RGG, as they really are a talented studio. They just need to get a grip right now, I feel.

Probably won't get the chance to play Horizon until the 17th because of work but fuck, I need that injected directly into my veins right now.

Pokemon ZA is seriously great. I wish the presentation was a bit better, but other than that I have no major complaints. The gameplay loop is addicting, exploring is fun, story and characters are actually super charming, and team building is as fun as ever. I'm very hopeful for Gen 10 now.

Sonic Racing Crossworlds is very fun. Not as chaotic as MK World, but it's not as dull as some of the footage they've shown has looked. The only part I'm not a big fan of so far is the OST. I hope the jukebox mode in the full release has a lot of classic tunes, because these new ones aren't hitting.

Making you feel something that isn't pure dopamine is emotional abuse lmao. This is one reason I don't take the Steam review % at face value because you get some real dummies with some diabolical takes on there.
this just in: im an abusive gamedev for (checks notes) making you feel things

It's been said before and I'll say it again. DK Bananza is Nintendo's best game in a long time. Fun exploration that feeds back into the player's abilities, fantastic presentation, and creativity just oozing from every part of the game. The final act is also one of the best from Nintendo *ever*.

Got the RE PSX trilogy on GOG and finished OG Resi 1 for the first time, and it still holds up really well. Acting so goofy that I love a lot, especially Wesker and Barry. Honestly, the game feels fine on the controls side. Tank controls really aren't that bad. The presentation was fantastic also.
