excellent choice! I’m also a big fan of the edge tremolo on that Xiphos, but I’m a weirdo when it comes to tremolo systems. imo it stays in tune better than the low to mid Floyd Rose ones

The EMG81 is definitely a fav heavy pickup though. Not as expressive but it cuts through super well and being rail magnets it maintains solid consistency no matter what wacky bends and stuff you’re doing.

Biggest thing outside of that (and aesthetic, they’re all cool as hell) really is going to be (if you keep it stock) the double hum D-Activators vs the bridge EMG81.

The dimarzios are more polite, a bit more responsive to touch but lower output. A bit better for expressiveness, sorta (cont)

I found the Ibanez in general had a thinner, flatter neck profile which I prefer, but the ESP/LTD isn’t like, Les Paul thick, I do a lot of guitar choosing off of the neck though so ymmv there.
