The report Conservation of Ecological Connectivity in Spain, resulting from the Spain Connectivity Dialogues held this June, is now online. The new report shares conclusions drawn from the first-ever national dialogue on connectivity and next steps.

Our road ecologist Kylie Paul recently captured these images of a herd of bighorn sheep on US-93 outside Sula, Montana. These photos serve as a reminder to watch for wildlife on the road, especially in the autumn months when wildlife-vehicle collisions peak in the US.

At the #IUCNcongress in Abu Dhabi, we were excited to welcome new organizations to the Global Partnership on Ecological Connectivity, which aims to strengthen the collective action required to scale up connectivity across landscapes worldwide.

Our team has been busy over the last week at the #IUCNcongress in Abu Dhabi. Gary Tabor, Aaron Laur, and Gabriel Oppler have been working with partners to highlight the key contributions of connectivity conservation to reversing biodiversity loss and halting climate change at a diversity of events.

Fernanda Teixeira of @largelandscapes.org visited Costa Rica to support the development of national guidelines to reduce negative road impacts on wildlife. While there, she helped inventory existing mitigation measures like underpasses, canopy bridges, fencing, and bird flight diverters.

Asian elephant populations are declining due in part to habitat loss and fragmentation caused by linear infrastructure like roads and railways. On #WorldElephantDay and every day, we're working to reduce these threats to Asian elephants.
