3D or 2d projections of a flat data file - if that is your type of #nerdything go try out my latest tool update. It now supports even more data types, more projections, more fun. Use fractional chunks sizes (0.0625) on old game data/ROM files it is a hoot. codepen.io/lardratboy/f...

Updated my chunked bytes to points tool - added tanh normalized float 16/32 support, updated ply exporter, added quantization. Give it a shot if you like looking at reasonably big data files and exporting them as point clouds.

Fresh from #Claude4 here is an updated UI and improved ply exporter. #threejs continues to surprise, my m2 mac 32GB can stay interactive up until about 90M points; if you have a beast of a rig I'd be curious what is the upper range of points this thing can handle. codepen.io/lardratboy/f...

computers are #bonkers - also #javascript + #threejs is way more #capable than I thought. Try your own moderately large hunk of data, and let me know how capable your machine is. (oh yeah I added .glb export)

#vibecoding what was before that #chatcoding (so last month-year..)?!, I've taken to using many chat interfaces (takes a village style development), kind of like carving software out of putty. also I might never execute a piece of code on local silicon again in a few months; exciting and worrying.

Republicans have been ordered by their billionaire Puppet Master to end Medicare as we know it.

Democrats have 215 members in the House who can stop this extreme effort.

All we need is three House Republicans to join us.
