Never seen a party that wants to lose, as much as the Democrats want to lose.

Having to explain this to my LA neighbors fawning over him in the early days of the pandemic in 2023 was maddening. They just did want not hear anything I was saying. Sigh.

And that is why I volunteered with the Matt Gonzalez’s (a Green) campaign in SF’s 2003 mayoral race. Gonzalez got 47% of the vote in the runoff to Gavin’s 53%. We knew then…

Rarely watched your network, but now I will be sure to never tune in again. Your network is now too white for this white lady. I’ll seek out diverse voices and perspectives elsewhere. Good luck competing with Fox.

Tough talk in social media posts is not leadership! Neither are tone deaf book tours when the country is in crisis. Lack of leadership like this is why I have no confidence in the Dems and am looking to organize amongst ourselves and with third parties to try to save democracy. Do better!

💔 My heart is now broken by what is happening to USAID under the current administration. I hope some day in the future they will be able to operate again and that the people that we work with can trust us again.

A necessary contrast / counterpoint to the immense shame and anger I have felt from the harm caused by other parts of the US government.

Also, @npr.org pretty sure that it is going to be met with fierce resistance around the world, not just in surrounding Arab countries. Not so fucking hard to be against ethnic cleaning.
