Every 3 or 4 months the local council comes and patches up this pothole outside our house. Yesterday the simian workers arrived, dropped some asphalt in the hole then drove over with their pickup to compact it. Not even 24hrs later and the hole is back. White truck - yellow stripe. Guess where?
