It would be time for the holidays without my family making a truly ridiculous Christmas card.
My family is dressed up like doctors wearing lab coats. We all have on blue gloves and myself and my kids have a glob of ointment on our first two fingers. My husband is holding a gallon sized jar of “Hermans root and herb curative liniment”. The card reads “this Christmas give the gift of Hermans” and it lists a bunch of illnesses it can cure including scrofula, dropsy, Black Death, restless legs, autism, French pox, and tennis elbow. A ribbon in the corner says “this is your pappy’s liniment” This is the back of the card there are many photos of my family demonstrating how to use Hermans. In one photo our cat is licking Hermans off a comically large syringe. We claim that a spoonful cures belly aches, that it’s a doctor in a jar, and that it contains home grown ingredients. The largest photo is of the whole family. One kid has hermans all over their hands and is licking it off both hands, I am rubbing hermans into my neck, my husband is brushing his teeth with hermans, and my daughter has a LOT of hermans all over her face. The text reads: This Christmas, give the gift of timeless health with Herman’s Curative Liniment! Buy our classic 128 fl. oz. jar or our new, easy-to-swallow pills for the family on the go! With once forgotten ailments like measles making a comeback, why not trust a remedy from the good ‘ol days? Rub it on, eat it up, apply it anywhere. Yes, anywhere! Our all natural ingredients are safe for everyone in the family, including your pets. And how do we know our liniment jelly works? We simply believe in our hearts that it does! Election Day in my precinct wasn’t all that exciting, all the candidates I liked were running unopposed, but what did make it exciting is that my youngest cast their first vote in an actual election 🥹 I can’t wait to vote with both of my kids in the midterms next year.

One of the little things that bring me joy is that every morning, I crack my office door so my cat can go outside and enjoy the garden. It’s hot so I close my inner door to just a crack to keep the heat out.

When he is done, he koolaid mans his way through the cracked door and it is delightful
The adorable little Koolaid Man. This is Tiddles, he is a small shorthair brown tabby cat. He is laying on the carpet feeling very happy that he got his outside time and his head is upside down. He is looking right at the camera and one of his paws is sort of dangling over his chin because he is so relaxed. I am also laying on the carpet so the camera angle is straight on across the carpet.

This is a fandalier. It’s an ugly round crystal chandelier like you would find in your grandma’s dining room with five curved black ceiling fan blades on the top. It looks as bad as it sounds

My little tube grew up into a bolster pillow!

My baby turned 18 today 🥹 for birthdays we set up a birthday display for the birthday person and then seal the room with streamers so they get to burst through and see their gifts. It’s kind of great

This is one of my previous freeform guys. It appeals to my desire to count but to be random about it. It’s ordered chaos.
A Sansevieria plant, also known as Dragon Fingers because the leaves are round and finger shaped and come to a point at the end, is hanging in a beige crocheted plant holder. The plant holder has several dozen finger like protrusions all around the sides and bottom with small burnt red-orange crocheted balls at the end.

I realized I DO know how to read a crochet pattern and have made this. What is it? Right now it’s a cylinder. I thought about making it a bolster pillow. I like it with my weird ceramic pieces, it has the same energy.

I like this style but can’t vouch for these exact models because the ones I used to wear are no longer available. They stay on my ears and I can still hear what’s happening around me. Earbuds almost always slip out of my ears or just don’t fit well.
Panasonic RP-HZ47 headphones. The headphones are small circular discs that have a clip that hooks over the ear. They do not insert into the ear canal and do not have a headband. This pair is corded. Micool - BT-XEASY headphones. These headphones also are circular discs that clip one the ear as opposed to inserting into the ear canal. This pair is blue tooth and canes with a charging case.

My favorite tip suggests printing out meaningful stickers and plastering them everywhere.
Iopevi makes a portable Bluetooth sticker printer. We bought one for our kid and it works good. This is a screenshot from the article I posted this comment on. In summary print out stickers and put them everywhere. The full text is much more accessible in the article link in the parent comment.
