The main problem is, I don't think he's really able to discern the times where he was hypnotized from the ones he wasn't, and the fact that Vox literally told him there "wasn't a moment he hasn't been watching (the Hotel through Angel's eyes)" definitely doesn't help

In Silenced, Angel also mentions having had a headache all day, and I think it's pretty fair to assume that was a consequence of Vox's hypnosis. NOW LOOK HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES HE TOUCHES HIS HEAD (in pain) BOTH AT THE END OF POISON AND EVEN WHEN HE'S ALREADY BACK AT THE HOTEL

You know what produces light? VOX'S SCREEN, AND YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT HE DOES IT ESPECIALLY WHEN HE'S HYPNOTIZING/TRYING TO HYPNOTIZE ANGEL IN ALL OF THESE SCENES

THEN THERE'S THIS SPLIT SECOND WHERE THE SCREEN FLASHES BLACK (which is fine since it's supposed to represent a fade-to-black sorta moment) BUT THEN IT ALSO FLASHES WHITE, AS IF IT THERE WAS A SOURCE OF LIGHT.

First of all, this whole scene symbolises Angel disassociating during Poison, so it's almost supposed to be a "look" inside Angel's head. I find it REALLY interesting though that the screens in the background are all blue, which is also the color associated the most to Vox and his powers

Like, that is the face of a man who is fucking TERRIFIED, and yeah, he might have lashed out at Angel in a way that made it seem like he's angry/mad, but I genuinely just think he was so scared he didn't know how else to react
