#LibraryReads the Minky Woodcock is by Cynthia Von Buhler. I got in on her last series. Fun stuff. Always down for Cthulhu but small print and size so pitched at your younger readers.

Alright time to go to the grocery store then back a different route. Saw this toy car parked. Looks abandoned but seemed out.

The other side was a tight squeeze for this portly gentleman but was able to get back on the sidewalk. This little guy was on the path.

Rain in LA. It means the #LARiver is funneling that water to the ocean. Stay safe.

Surprised how many places were not open by noon down there. That said, this fried chicken joint had a line down the block. The internet tells me it was it's grand opening, Chimmelier. Hope it is great but I wasn't waiting.

They have posted plaques about the history. Lots of original comic art pages, outfits, video about the band. Not all ages friendly. Timmy the interdimensional portal potty was the last tour I saw them on. I know people dont like that album but I liked it when they used more humor.

Beyond the Streets Gallery on LaBrea in Hollywood has a free Gwar exhibit running through the end of the month. I was impressed with how much they had. You can buy the items or hit the gift shop.

A few issues later (bi-monthly but still) the price goes up, but it includes the chain. Also, should Spidey wear his own coin? Seems like he should wear a different one.

Take me back to the '70s, when you could rock a Hulk medallion around your neck and get the respect of friends and strangers.

Man, this ad from a comic book from over 50 years ago still rings true

Just put together the AMC Structors AT-AT wind-up model. It is way more fiddley than the AT-ST (gray one behind it). Motor still works but not great (like the other one). 40 years in the box. They did one more Star Wars wind-up

Went down to the model remote controlled airplane area. When I was younger, one of my older cousins did this.

A little island in the big pond. Birds in the shade on the island remind me of the vultures from The Jungle Book movie.

Lots of parks have these little sections with exercise equipment. Bonus shot of that bird from my last post.

Went to the Sepulveda Basin park. Interesting all the Parks bordered by Freeways. They have cricket grounds, water features and birds.
