A western screech owl is peeking out of their box- you can see half of their face.. one eye and “ear”. I’ve never been able to take good enough pictures of the moon but I’ve never taken one like this…

Tricocerus cactus bloom- a beautiful reddish orange. Also in the picture are parts of the cactus that isn’t blooming and a ceramic lizard about the same color as the flower.

A western screech owl started hanging out in my parents carport so my dad made them a box! They moved in immediately and provide my parents with hours of entertainment when they’re around. I’m pretty jealous, not gonna lie.

One time Jorts the cat made a planner zine and September’s picture shows an old tweet stating “On the dream plane I think we should frolic in a hayloft “ with a picture of Jorts frolicking in a hayloft! There are moths and a pumpkin and cider and caramel corn. Also Jean! And there’s musical notes coming from an old timey radio. There is also a “tiny mothman” (moth) and a pic of Jorts frolicking with a bird friend and some cat toys, I think in an enchanted forest. Great Jorts content 🧡

My phone reminded me of this pic from 2019. The tree has fallen, as have most of the cactus.. like many things in the past 6 years I suppose.
Sunrise pic of some euphoria cactus (I think) and an agave nestled under a desert museum palo verde tree. The tree has prayer flags hung on the branches, and is blooming. There are tiny yellow blossoms EVERYWHERE as that is their job.
