I recently finished these two beauties and I think they reflect how far I've come in my practice. The skies, the moon, and the land are endlessly beautiful. To be able to capture these scenes in a way that emphasizes the otherworldly-ness of our world is my favorite part of the magic of making art.

As a distraction I’m making some paintings that are a little different. Inspired by glitter in the shape of smiley faces, I tried to do dot paintings in the icon’s likeness. 🙂
