Lovely day at Elmley yesterday with a few highlights being an Osprey, the juvenile Red Footed Falcon, 1st Brambling of the season, and a couple of Wheatear down by the swale. Cattle Egret showed well from the entrance track also.

Putting scaffolding up at a house in wrens warren, ashdown forest and found this stunning golden ringed dragonfly, in the customers back garden.

Scaffolding in Newhaven gave me the opportunity to see 3 Purple Sandpipers on the East Pier, I wasn't to confident as it's low tide so only had my phone with me

Green Winged Teal from the hanger still at Pulborough Brooks RSPB. Wood Sandpipers and Ruff etc from Winpenny. With quite a few showy Nightingales and Cuckoos around also. Awesome morning.

Went to a local nature reserve this morning and bumped into a few people looking into some bushes and found this long eared owl, 1 of 3 present. It was sleeping most of the time but did wake up a short time allowing me to try and get a few digiscoped images. My first LEO in Sussex

Great day at Dungeness RSPB yesterday. Sad to see the shop go after today. Hopefully they can make good use with the building in the future! This great northern diver gave decent scope views as well as the long tailed duck. Bittern from ARC pit was magical in the afternoon sun also a Barn Owl there
