housing is more expensive partly because over the decades the US no longer literally rations credit, partly because the US gets an influx of savings from other countries (which allows Americans to spend more than otherwise), and partly bc that 63% in the 1960s include delinquent rural shacks

namibian regional councils are the sleeper answer for most malapportioned electoral constituencies in the world (i believe all of these constituencies elect one cllr each)

on a different note i can't find what the ELCA colours are supposed to represent and it does look rather busy for the message it's trying to convey (see first screenshot) but it's fine. kind of a generic 1990s-2000s kind of logo. could also be a telecoms or #youthleadership conference logo.

on the other hand the proper comparison point for the church of england logo isn't the logo of american churches (it's not trying to attract people tbh) but the logo of things like the national trust. both are geometrically simple and of indeterminate colour.

by far the most controversial bit of the new government was the abolition of a public holiday which they did right as they entered government. almost all of the deterioration in polling for S and V happened within the first half-year or so.

this article/speech appears to say that it's concerning to the ministry of education that 66% of students who won HS olympiad medals from 2016-24 study abroad and most choose to stay abroad to work. but 2016 HS graduates generally wouldn't have finished a Ph.D. by 2025! what a weird concern

currently going through matthew, do we think there is any meaningful relevance in the small differences between these two accounts (in matthew and luke respectively) or do we just express lane through it with 'love God above all else' and move on
