The garden and a kitten. We have been harvesting berries and flowers and even broccoli today. I’m loving the fresh air and the sunshine after days of rain. The kittens are getting big and this is my keeper. We’ve bonded already and I’m crazy about him. Hoping for more sunshine days this week.

All the littles together. Just over 1 month old. So sweet. I love them. I’m sure there will be a lot of swearing once they escape the pen, but we will be vigilant!!

We dug up along a stretch of fence by the barn to plant 15 fresh canes of raspberries. They are so small you can’t see them yet but they will branch out soon. I’m so excited to have a real raspberry patch!! We will move the rest of the canes from the property along this fence as we find time

We hosted a barn sale at the acreage and this was part of my booth. It was just so nice to enjoy the barn in nice weather. Love living on the acreage 🥰

Barely 6am here and this is the view from my bedroom window at the acreage. Finally finished moving and slowly going through the arduous task of unpacking. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been so exhausted 🤣

My pink oyster mushrooms. Just picked fresh this morning. Going to cook them up tonight with something. Just wanted to try out a couple of those growing kits and I don’t mind them. Going to attempt a mushroom inoculation when I get to the acreage. Hoping to grow our own!!

So busy lately I barely have time for fun. Did manage to get a quick pic of the celery finally popping up and the tomatoes are looking just about ready to pot up!! So much to do so little time!!

Started over 90 pepper plants today and about 50 tomatoes. I had to stop because my hands hurt 😂 I’ll finish before the weekend. It’s going to be a massive planting season!!

It’s almost time to pack up the altar. To move to a new home. We already started taking boxes to the new place. So exciting!! I never know what to leave for last when packing. So much to do!!

Who else saves ALL their eggshells, ground up in jars for gardening season?? 😂😂 I’ve been adding a little every year to the soil I use for my tomatoes. As it is slow to decompose, I just keep doing it every year. It makes a difference over time
