As an English Teacher I find it very frustating when someone adopts a very narrow minded view of a text. There are texts out there that are problematic due to the authors intentions. There are authors too, who write a problematic narrator in order to draw attention to injustice.

Calling out a perpetrator years after the fact will never not be based. The sense of relief and empowerment a survivor/victim feels at that point is the freedom of accepting your truth and sharing it unapologetically with others.

Finished the OG Silent Hill for the first time last night. Took a while to process but holy shit what a great game.
