If you’re a grand strategy fan, try Stellaris. There’s a handful of Star Wars mods for it, one of which lets you grow the Rebellion from the first days of the Empire.

But I agree; Star Wars games had a momentary renaissance and I feel like they’ve been back to a downward spiral. I miss the 2000s.

Total War: Warhammer 3, and a bit of Skyrim.
