His eyes are a little clearer today.🥹

He’s still tired. Still healing. But there’s a softness in the way he looks at the people caring for him now a quiet kind of trust we weren’t sure we’d ever see.🥹
The deep swelling around his neck has gone down. He’s eating on his own.😊

Charlie is a medium-sized dog, around 3 years old, who’s already been through more than most dogs ever will.
He was found in a horrific state with a metal wire embedded tightly around his neck, causing severe swelling. He couldn’t see, eat, or drink. He was barely hanging on.
