I really enjoy with Game study study buddies, Just King Things, and another pod from them called Shelved by Genre, that I can sometimes read the content, listen in, and hear reactions which often dont align exactly with mine, but are interesting, and worth thinking about generally.

Just King Things, a podcast about reading the books of Stephen King in chronological order, and Mages and Murderdads, the only podcast about the Baldur's Gate series, for sure, are maybe the two I enjoy the most just in terms of having a good time. The Just King Things patreon episodes are gold

Women compete to take control of a cursed flying castle. I imagine the gameplay is entering a series of cursed rooms, solving a puzzle to proceed, and potentially being sabotaged by, or cooperating with, your competitors.

This part here I enjoyed, I had the thought "dang, and this is after being translated???" And maybe the translation hurts it elsewhere, but as a whole I can't help but think it's not for me.

Profoundly conflicted feelings on it. I sort of hate it. I think there are interesting things to think about, but in terms of a type of story I don't like, this might be my first example of something I find unbearable. Which isn't the fault of the author, that's on me. It has some great lines in it.
