I agree Josh, to add on I think its interesting how these countries use the Olympics for tourism and to bring notoriety to themselves but if people actually visited to see where the Olympics were held they would find these abandoned facilities that aren't a great impression.

This is great news to hear! It makes it feel more worth it to post about environmental issues when big governing bodies decide to listen and make changes that are better sustainable for future generations.

I agree that its good for the players (in this scenario), it reminds me of how in Formula 1 a few years back they implemented the "Halo" which almost every driver hated at first. Over time it was proven through accidents in races that the Halo saves drivers from debris and fatal collisions.

I think Netflix getting more into sports by signing deals with MLB, WWE, and Boxing Organisations allows for streaming services to broaden their products and it shows how much influence sports has on Broadcasting media. $50 Million seems like a lot but having a monopoly on an event is huge for media

The fans were enraged that the refs ruled 2 seconds left on the clock after what would've been a game winning shot by the Celtics which left time for the Suns to make a tying shot. Celtics fans held the team so close to their identity that they felt wronged by the refs and assaulted them.

I agree Havyn and as a result of the fight, the Pacers lost many of their players for the remainder of the season which costed them what many thought was a for sure championship. The Pacers were beating the reigning champion Pistons by 15 before the fight broke out.

Its interesting how fans get angry at players and especially centers in the NBA who are often injured. That social pressure plus wanting to be a leader and show up for your team makes players push through injury. Pushing through can lead to irreparable damage as seen with Joel Embiid recently.
