No it’s not, it’s because people like you make it sound like you need to be a genuine to use it. Most people can flash an iso to an usb stick, and most people can do every thing via the GUI, not every distro is gentoo.

linux mint, its simple, looks like windows, along side being popular. if you don't want to use that you could use ubuntu or pop os or what ever other debian based distro.
