I have a swift, but lately I'm too lazy to get it out and just put the hank around my knees while watching TV on the bed... Works well if not better!

I am already working on this for me. I don't really wear store bought socks much. But my hand knit socks are still few and most of them are 10-15 years old and not originally knitted for me, so not the best fit. But still they are better...

They could be even more toasty... Our house is old and cold.

This is my project, although I just made the first pair (I do have old ones my mom has knitted). It's nice to see it only has taken you 4 years, I was thinking it might take me 20 😂

I like the textured ones! For me I mean... the colorwork is cool too, just not for me.

Not sure I can call it being any pattern. I sort of followed Kate Atherley's Basic Ribbed Sock pattern (free on Ravelry), but I calculated all measurements based on my feet. And changed the toe. So, in the end just a basic sock.
