For several years, I have shared a learning science slide with my classes every week. Next semester, I am incorporating explicit practice of each of the techniques based on the topic I am teaching to better adhere to the Gradual Release of Responsibility or the I do, We do, You do model.

The goal for clinical ed (& learning in general)is that we continue to increase the difficulty level for the student which would require more direct support temporarily. So we should be moving back and forth on the continuum as learning increases. Would love to hear your thoughts. 2/2 Photo: ASHA
