The WWE may have a near monopoly, but it’s not a complete one. You could’ve included wrestlers from other organizations, or even better retired wrestlers who could really use the money after decades of being violently exploited by the organization you’re promoting.

Working with the WWE? Pass. Having wrestlers is one thing but posting promoting their WWE affiliation generally promotes the WWE and associates Dropout with it. So out of line with what I thought this company, Brennan, and Sam stood for. Gross. Also a wrestling season w/o Murph? Harder pass.

I remember growing up how they used to truly fantasize about the day they’d be persecuted. They wanted it to happen. Martyrdom was the peak a person could achieve. They made us take debate class or something similar so we’d be ready when they came for us but no one ever came. And they hated that.

This is an excellent point. They have their own “sources” like Infowars. If you engage with them as if this is something to be debated or discussed logically it can empower them. It hurt at the time but as a kid in fundamentalism being mocked went a long way to telling me it wasn’t normal.
