Agreed. I appreciate the ideal of transparency, but the word itself, ironically, can function in opaque ways. It used to drive me so crazy at work that I would keep a running tally of how many times it was used in staff meetings.

Thanks for this—it reminded me of her “Mamacita, Donde Esta Santa Claus?”, and when I went to YouTube to listen to it I discovered her Pee Wee’s Playhouse “Feliz Navidad,” which I’d never seen!!!
