Realized while drawing this page it shares similarities with my earliest Trahearne art - went digging and found them! Both are wip's from 2015 (the year HoT launched)

"Trahearne in Orr" - painted pre-HoT

"Friend and Mentor" - painted post-HoT, likely as a way to cope after finishing the story ;p

Really cool to see from Fireball. I actually did not know Fireball allowed this type of content until recently. I was pleasantly surprised.

It's rather dystopian what they allow in print is prohibited on many socials now. "Free and open internet," eh?

This is also a looser paintover of a painting from last year I wasn't happy with - I'm still not happy with it (one of those cases where I should have just redrawn it instead of painted over, lol) - but I thought the idea was cute, and maybe someone else might, too :p

In one of my headcanons, Trahearne's cleansed from Mordremoth, as is a once-corrupted Malyck.

I like to imagine Trahearne introducing Malyck to festival pleasantries in Tyria - perhaps playing a prank or two on him along the way.
