I stayed a week there with my mother and sister. Serene beauty and fantastic garden on the border. I recall standing in Canada and the US at the same time (as it should be.)

I was outside moving some rocks, planting grass seed, when I felt a presence behind me. I turned to find 3 deer looking for something to eat. I said "Hi Guys.." and they paused then kept on foraging. They know me, they know I am no threat....

My Tinka. Passed 5 years ago but I still catch her out of the corner of my eye sometimes and feel her resting on my shoulder at night.
