I had a friend group that did LAN parties back in the 2000s. I miss LAN parties very much, but the idea of sitting at my computer at something that is not my comfy desk setup at home is not appealing anymore. :(

The allure of a new gaming PC calls to me. I've got my parts list, it looks pretty good, and it's well within my budget. Do I need it? Heck no. But I WANT IT.

I've got to sit down at my desk and focus on a report, so I've got a YouTube window playing the entry plug hum from Evangelion. It's been one of my favorite sound effects for a long time. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that it's helping me focus?

My GF and I broke up recently. Sucks but it felt like a mutual break-up. On the bright side, I now have more gaming time, and instead of planning to move in with someone, I can spend that money on a new gaming PC.

I'm playing the Lunar: Eternal Blue remake but also Silksong just came out, and I'm deep into a replay of Red Dead Redemption 2. So much to play, so little time :(

I usually drink hot coffee with some creamer in the morning. Today I tried a new coffee chain's spot, and had their iced coffee drink. It feels like I get more of a buzz from iced coffee. I feel energized and clear headed. I'm trying to avert the inevitable crash by eating something.

—way too full with slop and juice to ever pick up
—absolutely sopping wet with gravy, a heavy CastrolGTX-like viscosity
—almost entirely bean sprouts
—Meow Mix-sized chicken strips
—the bottom bun should be unrecognizable with wet

The point of this sandwich was that you were at the Willows, drunk as hell, with some change! Sandwich was $1.25 and you could still play arcade games with your free hand.
It’s the novelty, not just the taste.

I finished RDR 1 properly (Made sure to do the epilogue)., so of course I had to start RDR 2 again. the opening scenes of RDR 2 hit a bit differently now that I know how everything turns out. still amazing games though.

Today is lame. I just want to go home and play Red Dead Redemption 1. I just started it and it's so much fun, even if it isn't as detailed as RDR2.

I made the mistake of installing Red Dead Redemption on my PC over the weekend. I played RDR2 first, a couple of years ago, it was fantastic. I decided to play RDR1 a bit just to see what it's like, and I'm getting sucked into it. It's older but still pretty awesome.

The Final Fantasy Tactics remaster comes out in September. I haven't wanted summer to be over with quickly in a long time. Last time was when the Star Trek TNG episode "Best of Both Worlds" ended season 3 and I had to wait all summer for the conclusion.

I played and finished Robocop:Rogue City. It was pretty awesome! I was sold on the game during the opening battle, but the light RPG elements were nice as well. Enjoyed every minute of it.
