Trump is weak against strong authoritarians and strong against the weak
This is typical of a bully

of course, Trump has made it personal now
he only values submission, either to himself, as most Reps do; or submission from him to somebody he idolizes, as it is the case with Putin (and Musk, at least for a while)

Under Trump, the movies I used to watch, like Rocky IV, about the rivalry between US and Russia lost sense
The feeling is more like an appreciation
Friends are bullied, enemies are praised
Where are we going to?

It seems more like a strategy
They do so many crazy things at once that it overflows any reaction capacity
Absurdity becomes the new normal

I feel the same
The world has seen autocratic-leaning guys who act to stretch any rational or democratic limit, weakening the controls, and if successful, taking over power indefinitely, either for themselves or for an alternative reality that will controll the nation's destiny for good

The image that comes to my mind is not as light as this
Maybe he'd be using a fire hose or a large exhaust fan

Don't forget those judges were chosen by Presidents we voted for, and were confirmed by Congressmen we have also chosen

there is a big mistake we make when voting
sometimes we just look for the things we dislike in the people we like, whom we are frustrated with
and then we don´t pay attention to the much more horrible things that can be done by those we don't like, and decide to vote for

His body language is full of negative character signals
His accent expresses a complete lack of commitment to his words
His vocabulary is at the level of a 10-year-old child
His speech is filled with hate, revenge, lack of civility, and lies
I feel sorry for you, people living in the USA

Well, I recall that just 4 years ago people made a good choice
Maybe (and I hope so), the next 4 years will be didactic, and, if so, it won´t be a total catastrophe, there will be good lessons learned for future choices

I have been trying to see the bright side
Then, I thought: At least we hadn't had another Capitol invasion
And... perhaps this is for you: it is possible to collect a lot of material for a story about a dreadful government led by a despicable man
