I say this as an avid podcast listener and love in my heart but what kind of loser joins a podcast listening club? I googled “podcast listening club” and most of the results were just links to this story. Am I out of touch or something? I can at least get a book or music club, but podcasts?

I’m highly skeptical of the idea of “deep blue” cities. In the abstract statistical sense cities may trend blue but I assume any pundit who says this is the case knows nothing about what the city/county party in their own city actually gets up to.
