I quite like this iteration! The ambience is super chill and Radian motivates you to raise operators I had forgotten like Surfer.
The Sui pocket dimension is really fun! I now really should catch up with the Sui story.

Naomi Ōzora as Tamamo Cross was outstanding this whole season, carrying many emotional highs, as did the rest of the cast. I hope next season adapts the manga less literally for better races.

Cinderella Gray S2 done! That last race was ok!
A show carried by its characters more than its premise.
Naomi Ōzora as Tamamo Cross was outstanding this whole season, carrying many emotional highs, as did the rest of the cast. I hope next season adapts the manga less literally for better races.

SANDA done! Final episode was a bit of a letdown after all the expectations as there was clearly nowhere near enough time to resolve everything. More of a "go read the manga" situation.
Still, very enjoyable show with wild ideas, characters and execution that feels "performatively shonen" at times.

SANDA done! Final episode was a bit of a letdown after all the expectations as there was clearly nowhere near enough time to resolve everything. More of a "go read the manga" situation.

New Integrated Strategies seems easier than the previous one but those What is Real mechanics on the boss suck ass.
On the other hand got Radian, but seems you gotta play IS to even level her, which is CRUEL and a hell of a motivator.

Sound design and the VAs doing so so much work and they succeed, in showing she sheer frustration and desperation of the attempted conversation. Really looking forward to seeing how they wrap up this cour.

Anyway, despite my frustrations with the races the characters keep being the highlight of the show, particularly the original ones.
Theres one more episode and that can only be more of this and not the races so looking forward to it.

Now that I have some time I finished 4/5 endings in Silent Hill f.
The Fox Wedding ending is so so funny but really finishes rounding out the characters motivations along with the extra info in the playthrough. Now only the final ending remains and I really look forward to it.

But the real highlight is Tachyon herself. She gets a better arc here than even in the Beggining of a New Era movie as she (spoilers) basically becomes Trainer 2 after retiring, only to despair like on the movie and coming back as a rival.
Its a better development than even Tachyon's career itself.

In the process, I also got both McQueen and her alt.

I have to mention Jerid who is such a start example of failing upward but also has been twisted into an even pettier antagonistic force from surviving his own failures and is a perpetual annoying thorn on the side of everyone.
