We are very concerned that a Unison activist and friend of L&DTUC has been suspended from his job. In 2023, Tom successfully led one of UNISON’s most significant education disputes, winning up to 25% pay increases for low paid support workers in the middle of a cost of living crisis. (1/3)

The L&DTUC banner was at Curve for the performance of We Are The Lions, Mr Manager along with Stand Up To Racism. A great night with a long standing ovation and plenty of interaction at the stall.

University of Leicester UCU began a further fortnight of strike action today. The Exit sign is for the senior leadership of the university, not the staff. Get down to a picket line if you can and let’s make the rally a big event.
