Yea... I didn't really expect Ragnarök during my lifetime.

Being shielded from windchill and precipitation, having dry clothes, and a few degrees above freezing, and not at least, the convenience of an electric cookplate (vs making and tending a cooking fire).

I live a comfortable life.

But to many of my friends it seems ascetic.

I used to solo hike a lot, before moving to living on boats.

Mostly wintertime, due to habing severe allergies. The boat offers luxuries beyond what I could muster as a no-trace wanderer.

However, it's just cold. In a -5°C ambient, +12°C down below is relatively comfortable.

I'll chop some firewood later, and heat the boat to around 20°C. Being cold is unnecessary when it can be avoided.

But for now, I'll just dress in layers of wool and keep blood circulation going.

Living in a refridgerator has it's ups and downs. It's convenient not needing to use the refridgerator. Food keeps well. The air is dry, no condensation inside.

But dressing up is getting bulky and working as I do, with a computer sitting still, gets a bit chilly.

Men arbetsköparen vill så klart inte skriva "jour" i avtalet för det är dyrare för dem.

Facket är unionen så de kan stoppa hela sin jävla organisation upp i arsle, de är fan sämre än transport.

Ja, och jag bråkar med min chef om detta varje månad. Vi har de facto jour, då vi jobbar remote och om vi har tillgång till internet, jobbdator och jobbtelefon, så är vi i praktiken på arbetsplatsen.
