I feel this. I tried to work in soccer content full time for a year. I had been in finance for a decade and it was a dream job. Turns out it was a 24/7 exploitation, people were so mean and I got nothing even though I quadrupled their viewership. It was easier to quit and go back to my old job.

I especially loved a moment in the 2nd half where Riqui ran 30 yards back to his defender and took the ball off his feet instead of waiting 2 seconds for a pass. It was such a ludicrous display of “I’m the best player on the pitch give me the ball”
