Juv Spotted Redshank joined the long staying adult at Seaforth this afternoon. Calling as it landed in front of the hide. An Osprey flew SW mid morning, 2 juv Arctic Tern on the causeway making it a decent 72sp day. #Lancsbirding

3 Roseate Tern flew in to Seaforth calling this evening. One ringed on the left leg like our regular female which had flown out to sea earlier. Difficult to say if they were the same bird. 4 Arctic Tern 2 ad and 2 1sts and 1sts Little Gull still present. #Lancsbirding #Ukbirding

First Roseate Tern of the year at Seaforth this morning calling and interacting with the Commons. A fly over Hobby was a surprise, a pretty rare bird here. Arctic Tern, 2 Sandwich Tern and 3 Med Gull the other birds of note.

Marsh Harrier over Seaforth this morning before flying south over the docks toward the city. 2 Adw Med gull including a bird we had back in August ringed in Antwerp in 2018. Grey Plover, Kingfisher, 10 snipe, 75 Blackwit, c400 Barwit, 120 Dunlin, 10 Goldeneye was my reward for frostbite. #Ukbirding
