I suppose it depends on what you want to make, but I was struck by something I saw in a Stephen West thing I got the other day where he showed the fuzzy yarn + sleek yarn brioche shawl he was knitting, and it just looked so cool.

I may be face blind, but there seems to be a fairly strong resemblance between Stephen Miller and Nosferatu. In both face and character.

How funny. That looks exactly like the way my pedicure socks started out, with a 6 stitch I-cord forming the part that goes between the first toes. One end forms the top of the sock, the other end forms the sole, eventually joined in the round. I had no idea I could have turned it into a snail!

Herb butter with a lemon rind and juice and Worcestershire sauce bit of tang. So that's what I'm doing. And will be for for nearly the rest of the week.

I've never had pecan pralines before, so I made them for the Big Day, and they are fabulous.

Knitting Pima cotton baby blanket, which looks oddly pinkish here, but isn’t. Baby will be born in Australia, when it’s really hot, hence cotton, not wool.
