THis is still a major victory! It shows that exposing management's unsound financial decision-making alongside tireless organising and pressure works! We hope this sends a message of strength and solidarity to sister unions accross the sector✊

BUT the dispute is NOT over! Serious concerns remain about the university’s financial mismanagement and the consequences of programme closures for staff. We need a long-term solution and we will continue to fight for it!

If Compulsory Redundancies (CRs) are not withdrawn by 9am on Wednesday 26 we have no choice but to go on with our industrial action!

There is no financial reason for management's cost-cutting spree. Our most recent calculations indicate that the £35m “savings” target set by management has already been met.
