(6/7) as someone who’s just beginning their teaching journey, this day means a lot to me as a vietnamese person. every day i have a deeper and more profound respect for those who have come before me-

(5/7) on this day, students will give gifts and thanks to their teachers, often performing songs or dances with themes of gratitude and joy. adults also celebrate this day by reconnecting with their old teachers, visiting them at their house and sharing a cup of tea

(4/7) after our liberation, the vietnamese government decreed in 1983 that the 20th of november will honour and commemorate the role of teachers in the liberation and continued development of the country
