None of us (Canadians ) should be traveling to the us or buying their products. We all should have been avoiding travel to that failed state since 2015 - but it's never too late to start. Buy Canadian, travel anywhere but the usa.

Good point. I have been refusing to enter the us since 2015. We all can choose not to enter that failed state, not offer our tourism dollars, not buy their products.

Oh, we Canadians are passionate about the current american- Canadian relationship - we've had it with american imperialism - and we're not shy about saying it. If the US ambassador to Canada can't accept that we aren't subordinate to his country he can just go home.

I wonder why hoekstra would think we care, even a teeny bit, what he thinks about us? More importantly, why would he think we should - or would - listen to his asinine pronouncements?

It is anti-american sentiment to be sure. No arguments here. We don't bow to bullies. We don't bend the knee, and, most importantly, we see the emperor is unclothed.

At this point I don't think we will ever stop buying Canadian first and anything but american. We also don't plan to visit that messed up country ever again. Buy here, stay here.

This is about extending the US border to include Canada. We have to (a) fight for our sovereignty and (b) rapidly expand our agreements and trade beyond the US.

Still not going to buy American products. Hopefully the provinces and feds will continue to seek alternative markets for Canadian product we cannot trust the Americans ever again.

It is , indeed, the early days of the fall of the American empire. America has been declining for years. Canada and Mexico are really going to have to support the North American continent in the coming years. We will both have to engage more with NATO and the EU to protect and preserve our nations.
