If you're waiting for Hollywood to stop genocide, then you're going to be waiting for a long time. Hollywood exists to monetize entertainment. It is not an apparatus that is consistently effective at advocacy, education, or stopping genocidal conflicts.

Going out on a limb here, but I'm pretty sure the person that's advocating for a marginalized community is not a trumper. The person parroting MAGA ignorance, however...much more likely.

I don't think supporting one cause comes at the expense of the other. Yes, it's an objective fact that genocide is happening but expecting George fucking Takei to fix it is genuinely a bizarre position to take.

That's a legitimate concern to have. The rights of cisgender women are already being infringed upon, particularly in bathrooms because of TERFs.
