Was curious, so I listened to my manuscript. Now, in addition to all the writing and editing, I need to make sure it flows well in audio too. I think the manuscript will be better for it, but it sure is a lot of work.

I dislike using “as” and “as if”. I remove them in my writing. When I see their (repeated) use in the books I read, I’m irritated.

Maybe that’s just me.
