Nice one! Hopefully we hit another stretch goal and we can send you a book with a fancy foldout map.

Cheers! Looking forward to hearing what experiences you have in the Troika Underground when the crowdfunding and fulfillment is all sorted - do keep us in the loop.

Cheers! It's definitely been a lot of fun to write and playtest.

To be clear, I love Troika and wouldn't run this in anything else, but it's a loose and light game rather than one with specific investigation mechanics. But honestly, I don't think specific mechanical support for investigation is very common in TRPGs who don't make it their no.1 focus.

Troika doesn't have much to support investigation specifically (I don't think?) - or at least, my players had no relevant skills or spells to use for it. It DID provide the chaos and weirdness that laid the backdrop to make the game feel both real and surreal, though. The great art helped too!

It was more of a two shot, but then I had players receive a mission, travel there, etc, and ran it sort of loose. But yeah, that includes players skipping a large part of the mystery out by becoming obsessed with where they might find a tooth, utterly misinterpreting a core clue to incredible effect

So I left a party who had already started elsewhere on to it, so it was stock Troika backgrounds for most of it. One of the PCs died and was replaced with a Macrame Owl though, which was a lot of fun - the backgrounds in Slow Sleigh helped inspire ours in The Venture Below a little bit actually.

I'm really beginning to feel like there should be more rules saying dogs can't do things

Thoroughly enjoyed running Slow Sleigh, even if my players did randomly hone in on the killer incredibly fast and without any actual evidence.
