I feel your pain, really, but can anyone show me in the OPS+ calculation where the Yankee fudge factor is? Cal would have won in a lot of other years, including 2017 when Judge got similarly edged out after a historic season, and mostly BECAUSE he was a Yankee

I think Cal had an all time great season for a power hitter, especially while being a frequent catcher, but Judge had major daylight on every stat but dingers... there were only seven 300 hitters in all of MLB, with a league average of .245.
