I genuinely want an answer for this. What am I missing?

I know this is the world we live in, but it's still crazy to see this posted by the official white house account.

Literally just finished ep. 8. Wild this isn't drawing more attention than it is.

Honestly, the scariest part is that to some degree, he's right. There is absolutely a bottom up development is progressive thinking, but we still may be in for centuries of this cult style of indoctrination, almost a second dark ages. The power of modern propaganda cannot be overstated.

They think that after the current institutions teaching woke ideology (not just schools, but social groups, media, etc) are removed, the mentality will die out as the remaining supporters either die or give up. Everyone will be raised correctly and know these divinely ordained truths.

The science didn't matter, but it mattered that it reaffirmed what they wanted to believe. Needles are scary and bad. "Science" shows that it actually is bad? Must be right.

Part of believing in human rights means that you support them regardless of who the other person is.

Arguing that if you don't support political assassination, you're a shitty person, is a stance.

To half the population, he was an activist. Their decisions and reactions to this are based on what they "know", not reality.
October 4, 2025 at 1:40 AM
Was referring to you not being called a bad person, not him.
October 4, 2025 at 1:38 AM
I was referring to the "you're saying I'm bad because I'm glad" bit. I was in no way saying Charlie wasn't a terrible person.
October 4, 2025 at 1:38 AM
You can do a bad thing and not be a bad person. Even if you were to look at it from a utilitarian perspective, it is not good for opposition of the faction with far too many guns if murdering activists becomes normalized.

It's important to be able to accept that he was a person who lived a life, most of which was very normal, and also that he did many terrible things during that life.
October 4, 2025 at 1:27 AM
Regardless of what you think of him, he was still a human. Dehumanizing other people is not healthy to do. It is reductive and almost suggests "people that have a family could never do these things".
October 4, 2025 at 1:27 AM
That's why Spider-Man so often calls villains by their first name. He sees them as people who need help.
October 2, 2025 at 2:28 AM
It's wild that we've reached a point where he can just admit that the White House tried to cancel a news show and half the country just goes "well he had it coming".
September 24, 2025 at 3:48 AM
I've been getting mileage out of that article lately.

If you just want to play it as a party game, it's in a pretty good spot. If you want to improve as a player and look at it from a competitive mindset, it's rough.

I'm not too knowledgeable on Lars, but I imagine this is changing something from being a launcher. Still a wild change tho.

I mean, you kinda are tho right? Just embrace your true self.
