Never voted Tory in my life but I understand the Thatcher thing. She was a vision of something different to a lot of people, who’d lived through the political mess of the 70s.

I’m not a fool and can deal with stats. Without a proper survey I don’t think we know the truth.

I’m in my 60s and talk to my cohort and many older people through the U3A. Only what I hear but childminding, accommodation, loans, cars, house deposits all very common.

Explosion incoming. Every older person I know is in full knowledge of the difficulties of the next generations and helps with huge amounts of money and time. Self pity-never a good look.
