he bathed him, fed him and turned him back into a 'functional' human, but he still didn't want to get back to work. the mere mention of work or the lingering scent of latex on hannibal made him have a meltdown +

then, he cleaned up around will. did his laundry and changed his bedsheets when will was on the bathroom.
later, when will allowed him, he held him while will cried on his arms. after a week, he just repeated a single sentence "couldn't... i couldn't save her" +

he found him alone, his house in the middle of nowhere, a mess of himself.
Hannibal decided he will help, even when he will refused.
he started slowly, bringing him every meal of the day, not commenting when most of the containers stayed untouched for days +
