Baritone guitar build coming together. Just about done with sanding and then on to finishing. The body is recycled from an old jarrah bar-leaner. Waiting on a new pickguard blank after mangling the first one a bit, but the end is in sight. #guitar #offset #luthier #diy #woodworking

Today was a day we dreaded for the whole 2 years we lived in this #cetacean paradise: a mass #whale stranding on Onetahua / Farewell Spit, just as our friends from Canada arrived for a 1-day visit. Well, we all went out to #savethewhales with our community & 35/37 were still alive as tide came in 🤞

Donkeys are good guys (most of the time). Inseparable as well. They're basically magnetic, if they get lose and go on a polite little rampage, you only have to catch one and then the other will come and stand with his friend in solidarity.
Time to introduce another species of our flock: our miniature donkeys Tutti Bennie Andreeeeyoh ("Bennie") & Shadowfax Lord of Horses ("Shadow"). Where the goats are like dogs - actually, they are better heel walkers than our white wolf! - the donks are like cats. They love as it suits them, not you.
