oh especially the Spell Charging animations, with how they built in the lighting effects, god damnnnn

it was my first gen so it was kind of my baseline-- instead ill shout out going back to Breath of Fire III as an adult and realizing how immaculate the pixel art is, colors and animation and all. jawdropped me decades later

couldn't quite manage what i had in mind with this, i'll have to get better and come back to it down the line, but i like this well enough.
