"Original movies" haven't fared well since the pandemic rewrote the #boxoffice rules, but Sinners had the best opening weekend for an original screenplay & 2nd best for a non-IP title since the August 2020 reopening. For this chart, I count Broadway shows, bestselling novels & pop stars lives as IP.

Saw the restored Se7en at Annville's Allen Theater, now a full-time revival house. 30 years later, the movie really holds up, and certainly looks great! I love having a regular chance to see the classics on the big screen!

Still sad that the Regal Lebanon Valley Mall 10, where I'd seen almost 40 Mystery Movies, has closed. Yes, there was almost never anyone there & I wondered how it even survived this long. But oh, how I wish I had the $$$ to buy it, bring it up to code, and try all my "If I owned a theater..." ideas.
