I don't know about Carrd. I'll have to check them out. I just discontinued my WordPress blog because there were all these add-ons required and the cost was just getting to be too much.

Twitter always has felt to me like being on a NYC commuter bus/train where instead of being buried in their screens or books, the passengers look to each other to pass the time. Things can get messy and/or weird but you also learn things. Maybe same here but w/ less rudeness, or so goes the hope?

I love IG for visual artists. "Here's what I'm working on," they'll say, and give us an immediate peek into developmental process for a bowl or a painting. For writers, I often think, "Geez, how many photos of a deftly foamed latte positioned next to a book or an iPad do we need?"
